Photo Essay: Year Two, Untethered

I know it’s not quite the end of the year yet, but this week (Dec 10, to be precise) marks two years since I left on this grand adventure with nothing but a penny in my pocket and a song in my heart. Wait no… I left with a suitcase, a backpack, and a few million Vietnamese dong in my wallet.

It’s now 17 countries later! Last year I did a photo recap of the first 12 months. And here, in this photo essay, the second 12 months: Indonesia, Singapore, India, Japan, Taiwan, Nepal, Hong Kong, Laos, Jordan and my most recent home… Thailand.

No idea whether it will continue another whole year — probably not. But it’s been a damn fine journey thus far. Perhaps you’ll find some inspiration for your next destination! (This photography site allows higher resolution photos – which is why I’ve published it there and not here –  so if you have a larger screen… use it!)

Happy New Year!
